Closures of schools!!<\/strong> New Session was to begin from April. School authorities, teachers and students were waiting eagerly to be back to school. But amidst the fear of COVID 19 lurking around, <em><strong>the news broke out&#8230;.. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Class X and XII being board classes will be conducted virtually on a Google Meet or Zoom based app. With this announcement, I, being the academic in-charge, started getting frantic calls from all around&#8230;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Ma&#8217;am, how ? How will it happen? We are not equipped with the required gadgets nor we have training for working on these platforms.<\/strong>&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This kind of feedback kick started series of webinars, training sessions and what not!! It all seemed a herculean task, almost impossible!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a time when we, the teaching fraternity, had to be <strong>the motivators as well as keen learners<\/strong>. Within no time, we all geared up and online teaching process began on full swing. <strong>Overcoming teething issues <\/strong>was no less than mammoth challenges. Yet, the entire process turned out to be a real new normal and one of its kind <strong>experience of exploration and enquiry. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4531207183647554\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4531207183647554\" data-ad-slot=\"8600556546\"><\/ins>\n<script><\/script>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>My heart fluttered to see the teachers who had never had a tryst with technology, were getting accustomed to this new normal way of schooling. Patiently we were all learning to deal with the expectations of parents. Listening to their grievances regarding the inefficiency of network, preparing study materials to deal with the unavailability of text books had become a part and parcel of our life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><strong>The joy of connecting with the children<\/strong> and <strong>bridging the gaps of learning<\/strong> in virtual classrooms replaced the initial hiccups and confusion. Within a month <strong>the entire process enthused a sense of accomplishment and pride in us<\/strong>.<\/p><cite><em>Meena Mehta, Educator and Social Blogger<\/em><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Presently new skill-set is enabling <\/strong>us to keep pace with the fast changing world, work from the comforts of our home and enjoy the company of our near and dear ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The whole experience is truly a re-discovery of inner joy pouring out endlessly.<\/strong> No commuting hassles have resulted in better time management that juggling so many tasks from conducting online classes, taking care of domestic chores, fulfilling other responsibilities of family, enjoying work flexibility and indulging in fitness regimes have all become fun filled and meaningful activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>That&#8217;s the way the educators, especially the school teachers evolved happily by embracing the #NewNormal. That&#8217;s the Power of Positive Abundant Mindset resulting in finding our hidden or passive potential. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\">The Post is submitted by Ms. <strong>MEENA MEHTA<\/strong>, a dedicated AHhaLife! Happion, an Experienced Educator, and a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/CircleX.in\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/CircleX.in\" target=\"_blank\">CircleX Expert <\/a>(Communication). Right now she is managing a reputed Public School in South Delhi as HeadMistress and English Subject Teacher for Senior Secondary classes. She is also giving her time for Social Volunteering and helping students with Creative Writing and Subject related queries. <br><br>Being very concerned about the financial and emotional independence of women, she is handling <strong>3WC.org<\/strong> <strong><em>(a site dedicated to Women Welfare and Wellness)<\/em><\/strong>.
