Being Present simply means you’re focused and engaged in the current moment, here and now, not distracted or mentally absent. It is living mindfully in present moment.
Till you attain the omnipresent state of being, try at least to Be Present, now and here, and experience life fully 🙂
Being present and exerting our ability to be mindful not only makes us happier, it can also reduce our work stress levels, improves concentration, positively impact our health, and improve our ability to cope with negative emotions like depression, fear and anger.
How to Be Present Always?
Start Practicing Mindfulness, and be present in whatever activities you are doing, consciously, in an aware state of being.
Communicate while being congruent. Speak from Heart, be fully authentic and present in your communication. Listen actively with undivided attention. Practice whole-body listening.
Live in the moment. Try to intentionally bring an open, accepting and discerning attention to everything you do.
Love all unconditionally. Be truly honest in your relationships, with family, friends, community. It also means being present with your own emotions which enables you to express what you feel to your partner. Always understand your partner first. Practice Self-Awareness steps to know and understand your thoughts and emotions.
“The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness.” Only in the present moment can you achieve true happiness, peace, and joy, which are all key for our mental well-being.
